Monday, June 25 2:00 PM EST
Developing strong and productive relationships with major gift donors requires we develop the right relationship strategy for each potential donor. This means each potential major donor will have a unique, customized relationship strategy developed just for them.
Kathryn and Gail will show you how to find out what will work for each individual donor. You’ll learn how to conduct in-person research by directly chatting with your donor. You’ll do deep listening as well as active questioning. In other words, you’ll learn the art and science of major gift fundraising.
If you want to build the right relationship strategy for each prospect, you’ll be qualifying and re-qualifying them at each stage of their cultivation. This includes prospect research and, most importantly, the special, direct conversations you have with your donor.
You’ll learn a 4-step framework for conducting “productive” conversations with potential donors:
• Introduction – Sets the tone
• Permission – Establishes trust and focus
• Objectives – Purpose and business
• Conclusion – Sets the stage for the next interaction
